How to use it?
If you’re still considering how you want to structure your contacts details or deal pipelines at the start, just assign the data you’re unsure about into a text field.
Then you can transform it in the future to whatever suits your workflow:
Text —> Single select
Text —> Multi-select
Text —> Date
Note: Your dates need to be in MM/DD/YYYY
Text —> Number
